Our AutoCAD training is designed to prepare each participant to confidently learn and improve their knowledge of this leading and universal computer aided design software.
AutoCAD 2017 is offered as 3 individual certificate training courses. Each course is 40 hours in duration.
Courses in each level are hands-on and project oriented with a step-by-step approach to learning AutoCAD. Students will practice their AutoCAD skills using exercises that are taken from a variety of industries where AutoCAD is used.
Classes are for the individual learner or custom group classes may be arranged.

AutoCAD Level 1- Essentials
In Level 1 students will learn to incorporate the features, commands and techniques for creating, editing and printing drawings.
Upon completion of the course the student will know how to:
• Create basic drawings and features
• Edit basic drawings and features
• Use print function and help menu
AutoCAD Level 2- Intermediate
Requires completion of AutoCAD Level 1-Essentials course.
In Level 2 students will improve their skills and enhance productivity. Students will review the basics and develop new skills to increase their effectiveness by using more complex commands.
Upon completion of the course the student will know how to:
• Create custom menus and toolbars
• Perform intermediate plotting and printing using AutoCAD
• Use the help menu
AutoCAD Level 3-Advanced (3-D)
Requires completion of AutoCAD Level 2 –Intermediate course
In Level 3 students will continue to enhance their knowledge and productivity by learning how to create, modify and present conceptual designs and 3D models using AutoCAD software.
Upon completion of the course the student will know how to:
• Create main solids
• Render models for presentations and visual purposes
• Mesh generation to surfaces
Admission Requirements
- Registration is open to anyone 18 years of age or older.
Courses are to be completed in sequence. Basic computer skills are required.
