The Computer Systems Technology diploma training program is designed to train the student to become an IT professional by learning and understanding the exciting technologies people use everyday. Students will build a solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals, various computer systems and gain software engineering skills to develop computer applications through hands-on courses. The program will expose the students to advanced concepts and offers hands-on training in network design and optimization, advanced topics in security, data communication, advanced Java computer programming, CISCO, UNIX/Linux administration, GUI Programming, SQL Server, C and C++ Programming and Apache Web Server.

Admission Requirements
- An Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or
- Students are 18 years of age or older and pass a Superintendent approved qualifying test

Computer Systems Technologists establish, operate, maintain and co-ordinate the use of local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs), mainframe networks, hardware, software and related computer equipment. They set up and maintain Internet and intranet Websites and Web-server hardware and software, and monitor and optimize network connectivity and performance.
